This past weekend, we took a mini-vacation to one of our favorite places in the continental US - Colorado. Sienna kept calling the state, "Rado". Sienna and I flew out by ourselves; Scott was there all week on business. It was a nice break from the Midwest heat, and we love a chance to get away to the mountains. Sienna did great on the trip, especially given that we took her on two plane rides, stayed in two different hotels, and took her up & down in elevation all in about 72 hours. Thank goodness I packed plenty of fruit snacks for the moments of near melt-down. :) Colorado is such a refreshing place, and we really enjoyed our break from normal life!

Didn't really want her picture taken, but it turned out cute & funny anyways! |

The water was so clear, we could see the rainbow trout swimming around. |

Stopped along side the stream to throw in pine cones, rocks, sticks, etc. |
